LIESE ANDERSON, ARTIST

Liese Anderson is a California artist.  At an early age, she got her initial inspiration from playing in her father’s art studio in Westchester County, New York.  Having access to the studio environment filled with paints, pens, and pencils she naturally began drawing.  When her father took her into New York City to his big graphic art studio she was exposed to cartoonists and artists who inspired her even more.  She won art awards in school for her creativity and was always surrounded by art and culture growing up in Boston.  She hails from a long line of artists in her family.

Liese is inspired by many subjects and enjoys drawing the female form.  She is always expanding her range of subjects.  She paints realism, fantasy, spirituality, and thought provoking pieces.  Her medium is oil on canvas and she is not afraid to try anything.

The goal is to create an emotion and a feeling ….and sometimes something to make you wonder and laugh.  She is always working on new series of subjects.  Exploration, interpretation, growing, learning are all part of the process.
